LCUMC Missions
Missions here go beyond one-time events.
They’re woven into the very foundation of our church, shaping how we live out our faith every day. As followers of Jesus, we’re called to actively spread God’s Word and love — whether it’s helping a neighbor, supporting a local ministry, or traveling across the country or around the globe to serve those in need.
How We Serve
Our missions are as diverse as our congregation:
- Local Outreach – Helping neighbors, supporting families, and meeting practical needs in our own community.
- Youth & Adult Mission Trips – From Wisconsin to South Carolina, our students and adults serve alongside communities in need, learning, growing, and putting faith into action.
- Global Partnerships – Supporting ministries and projects abroad that bring hope, resources, and the love of Christ to underserved communities.
- Ongoing Service Opportunities – Monthly missions, family-friendly projects, and ways for every member of the congregation to participate.
Through each project and trip, we see God’s love in action — and we invite everyone to be part of it.
Why Mission Matters
Missions aren’t just about helping others.
They transform the people who serve as much as those being served. Every act of service is an opportunity to:
- Love God through obedience and generosity
- Love Others through practical care and compassion
- Share Your Faith by showing Christ’s love in tangible ways
