52 WEEK BIBLE READING SYSTEM

Purpose:
Jesus told the disciples to “Go and make disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to
observe everything I have taught you!” As a response to the many who have told me they
do not know the stories of Jesus, Pastor Lynette has designed a DAILY BIBLE READING
SYSTEM for busy people.
Format:
We will have 5 Daily Reading sessions with reflective questions and a guided prayer
for each day of the work week...
We will go through the life and teaching of Jesus by using the stories of the first
three gospels: Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Instead of reading the same story three
different times, we will look at all three writers’ versions about the same story
on one day. We will begin with Jesus’ birth and go right through his life.
Then we will look at unique passages in John not covered in the 1st
three gospels.

Table at the east entrance.
How to make it work for you:
Commit to reading 5 of the 7 days in a week.
Each week, discuss your reading with others:
With your spouse or roommate.
With a prayer partner or small group.
With the 11:00 Adult Discussion group.
